Systems engineering (Software, Electrical Design and Commissioning)

Our commissioning teams travel the globe ensuring all our equipment is installed correctly and running efficiently. They support the initial training of our customer machine operators and work closely with the design and software team in Leeds to make sure the equipment is commissioned to the highest standards and ready to go. Our Systems Engineering Department design the electrical systems and software for all of FT’s products worldwide, as well as being heavily involved in research and development of all our products.

Field Service Engineers

Our Field Service Engineers play a crucial role in our comprehensive after-sales support contracts. They are often the first point of contact for our customers once the machines are installed and in service. Field Service Engineers enjoy a diverse and dynamic role, visiting customer premises to perform annual machine maintenance, servicing, and responding to emergency repair requests.

Both of these roles involve comprehensive initial training, typically spanning 4 to 6 months, depending on previous experience.
